By using Phraseless, you agree to these terms. This is a pre-launch beta. Features, availability, reference sets, and limits may change. Do not use the service if you do not agree to these terms.

Phraseless measures patterns in writing, compares them within a declared public-domain reference set, and offers bounded readbacks and reversible craft experiments. It does not determine authorship, plagiarism, AI use, identity, intent, psychological state, or objective writing quality.

You keep ownership of writing you enter. Phraseless claims no ownership in it.

The default Read processes writing locally in your browser. If you explicitly request an optional provider feature, you authorize the limited transmission and processing disclosed immediately before that request solely to provide the selected result.

Account features, when enabled, require accurate information and reasonable care with session access. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend access needed to contain abuse, security incidents, or material violations of these terms.

• Do not break the law or violate another person’s rights.
• Do not probe, bypass, overload, or interfere with access and safety controls.
• Do not automate requests beyond published limits or resell access without permission.
• Do not present a Read as proof of authorship, misconduct, AI use, or mental state.
• Do not submit writing you lack authority to process through an optional provider lane.

If a paid feature is offered, its price, renewal cadence, discount, cancellation, and refund terms will be shown before purchase. Polar processes payment. Withdrawing optional paid-feedback consent changes only future purchase or renewal pricing; it does not create a retroactive charge. Paid enrollment remains unavailable until those checkout terms and payment handling are independently verified.

The beta is provided without an uptime commitment or service-level agreement. We may change, suspend, or discontinue beta features. When practical, account holders will receive notice of material changes.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. READBACKS MAY BE INCOMPLETE OR WRONG. YOU DECIDE WHETHER TO ACCEPT, REJECT, OR REVERT ANY SUGGESTION. AUTHORI_TY DOES NOT PROVIDE LEGAL, MEDICAL, EMPLOYMENT, ACADEMIC INTEGRITY, OR PROFESSIONAL EDITORIAL ADVICE.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Phraseless will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from the beta. Any aggregate liability will not exceed the greater of amounts you paid for the service in the preceding twelve months or US$100. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they apply only to the extent permitted.
